2.5 stars. Portions are large and they are quick. And they are close by to my workplace. I had the fried scallops and was horribly disappointed. They were not real scallops (they were the crab imitation stuff). The breading was good though. I'm not used to the yellow rice. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great. Friend of mine got the broccoli with garlic sauce that that looks pretty good. Her veggie fried rice is what I'm used too (they used white rice). Eh, I'll give this place another shot since it's convenient for me.

Don't know why the bad reviews, I want to believe that I'm a very difficult person to impress considering I'm in a different state or country every other week. So you could say that I have seen it all. This is my second visit to this restaurant, both for take outs. I have ordered 5 different. dishes and I have yet to be disdained. I always ordered the orange chicken and it's fantastic. The personnel is friendly and always willing to help! We'll return here every time we come to Charleston.

Large portions. Price is average. Small family owned restaurant that has been around for over 20 years. Yes the stir needs an update but the food is good. Sweet tea is super sweet! Too sweet for my taste buds. My children enjoy their sweet & sour chicken. We have had the won ton soup & egg drop soup. The bean curd (tofu) with veggies is good. We always order the veggie lo mien. It is always more than we can eat as a family of 4. We always have left overs the next day.

If I could give it a zero I would! Utterly disappointed! I took a bite of the egg role and spit it out! The chicken is a little piece of chicken surrounded with a pound of dough and the rice is yellow! I woulda been bettfer off eating top romin noodle at home saving money and my dignity. I should have walked out when I saw the dump! Horrible..the food inspectors need to check this place out

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
